Launching Hollywood’s Hottest and Newest Coworking Space

OnePiece Work is happy to announce the opening of our newest location in Hollywood!

“We’ve had such success growing an awesome community in our first Los Angeles location [in Santa Monica] that we’ve had an overwhelming request for an office in Hollywood,” said Lucy Garcia, Hollywood’s Community Manager for OnePiece Work. “Both for our current members who travel, and for startups based in East Los Angeles.”

OnePiece Work Hollywood celebrated its debut with a networking event and panel discussion in our 4th-floor office, against a breathtaking backdrop of the Hollywood Hills and Hollywood Boulevard.

The ribbon-cutting gave way to a discussion on global trends in digital entertainment, where guests heard from a variety of industry-leading speakers like Jason Y. Lee, founder of Jubilee Media. Jason reinforced the importance of a non-traditional media mix for 2020. “We’re seeing melding in media and I think that great storytellers are able to speak on any level, it is not just limited to TV or Film,” he said.

Traditionally a space for tech start-ups to grow and scale, OnePiece Work’s Hollywood location marks our entry into the world of entertainment. More than just a coworking space, OnePiece Work is a community where members network, innovate, and grow together. Our spaces promote connection and collaboration between industries.

Hawke Media Business Strategy Executive, Andy Dubin, was on hand to offer valuable insight to up and coming global entrepreneurs. “If I can give any advice to an entrepreneur, it would be to take your time, I’ve made a lot of mistakes going really fast.  It’s very ok to take a pause, relax and evaluate if any pivots make sense,” he shared.

Hollywood is the epicenter of the entertainment industry, and our goal is to provide an environment where creatives thrive. Our Hollywood location will be the first OnePiece Work to have a podcast room and an editing bay – specifically for our members in entertainment, production, digital media, and more.

Actor & Producer Brian Yang sat in on our panel to provide a unique perspective on the changing landscape of global media. Brian observed that “We exist in a society that information is flowing back and forth from China, Europe, and Latin America. We get ideas and exchange information at a rapid rate these days. These rules are always evolving and changing.”

The One Piece Work Hollywood design aesthetic is funky, eclectic, and SoCal chic. We pay homage to classic Hollywood through the wallpaper in our meeting rooms and the art that fills our space.

What do we like most about our new Hollywood location? Everything.

“We love the vibe and the energy of the city! It’s motivating, energetic, and an ideal location for OnePiece Work,” said Lucy.

“We’re in the center of it all! At any time if you look outside our window, you can see a movie premiere, celebrities walking the red carpet, or a live taping of a TV show. Hollywood’s energy is magnetic, we fell in love with the neighborhood and we know our members will too.”

OnePiece Work Hollywood is right in the heart of all things entertainment. We’re located right across the street from the TCL Chinese Theatre, neighbors with Jimmy Kimmel Live, and the iconic Roosevelt Hotel. Some of the best coffee shops, bars, and restaurants in the neighborhood are within walking distance, while the Metro Station is just a few blocks away for an easy commute. We tailored our newest space to bring budding entrepreneurs and startups together. Come join our creative, tech-focused community.
