Public Health Reports 44 New Deaths and 13,580 New Positive Cases of COVID-19 in Los Angeles County
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.
- 13,580 new COVID-19 cases (719,833 cases to date)
- 44 new deaths due to COVID-19 (9,482 deaths to date); deaths are under reported due to holiday and weekend reporting delays
- 6,815 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
- 20% are in the ICU
- More than 4,600,000 individuals tested; 15% of all people tested positive
