Reopening of South Bay Schools Townhall

Tomorrow: South Bay Schools Reopening Virtual Townhall

Thursday, March 25 at 6 p.m.

Please join me for a Virtual Townhall TOMORROW to discuss the reopening of K-12 schools in the South Bay. I will be accompanied by our local school district superintendents:

Superintendent Jason Johnson, Hermosa Beach City School District;
Superintendent Michael Matthews, Manhattan Beach Unified School District;
Superintendent Steven Keller, Redondo Beach Unified School District;
Superintendent Alex Cherniss, Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District;
Interim Superintendent Tim Stowe, Torrance Unified School District; and
Local District South Superintendent Michael Romero, Los Angeles Unified School District.

They will share their respective district’s individual reopening plans. In addition, I will provide an update on state support for schools during this time of transition. The conversation will be followed by a moderated Q & A.
