Public Health Reports 8 New Deaths and 3,031 New Positive Cases of Confirmed COVID-19 in Los Angeles County

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19. The case numbers and deaths reported today may reflect delays in weekend reporting.

  • 3,031 new COVID-19 cases (1,326,361 cases to date)
  • 8 new deaths due to COVID-19 (24,777 deaths to date)
  • 1,433 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
  • Nearly 7,500,000 individuals tested; 16% of all people tested positive
