California Women’s List Endorses Lindsey Horvath For Supervisor
LOS ANGELES, CA – California Women’s List formally endorsed the Honorable Lindsey P. Horvath for Los Angeles County Supervisor for the 3rd District, joining a robust coalition of support that spans Los Angeles County and the State of California.
California Women’s List (CWL) is a Political Action Committee that endorses and helps to elect women to public office in California. Founded in 2015, California Women’s List is rooted in decades of political activism. CWL is a volunteer-run intersectional feminist organization, and supports candidates who champion policies that dismantle systems of oppression.
“California Women’s List is proud to support Lindsey Horvath in her bid for Los Angeles County Supervisor. CWL, at its core, is about women unapologetically taking up space; it’s about embracing our collective power in order to break barriers. Throughout her career, Lindsey Horvath has used her voice to speak up for the disempowered, and has championed women’s rights at every step of the way. She is exactly the kind of leader Los Angeles County needs now,” said Marissa Roy, California Women’s List President.
“California Women’s List has played a major role in ensuring women have a seat at the table throughout California, and I am honored to accept their endorsement. We share the conviction that all issues are women’s issues, and that women belong in all places where decisions are being made. As LA County Supervisor, I will continue working to advance critical policy issues, like a woman’s right to equal protection and pay,” said Councilmember Lindsey P. Horvath.
