Hon. Lindsey P. Horvath Releases Statement on Election Results
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 8, 2022) – Today, the Honorable Lindsey P. Horvath, candidate for LA County Supervisor, District 3 released the following statement:
“I am incredibly honored that the residents of the 3rd District trusted me with their vote. As long as these results hold true, we will advance to the November general election with Senator Bob Hertzberg. Despite the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent by special interests to elect my opponent, the voters of District 3 know they can’t be bought. These results make clear our vision for a safer and more equitable LA County has the support of people all across this District. Together, we will be victorious in November and deliver the change our County needs,” said Councilmember Lindsey Horvath.
“People across LA County want a leader with real-world experience solving our biggest challenges at the local level. I have a strong track record of implementing successful solutions to our homeless and housing crises as well as keeping people safe and protecting our neighborhoods. LA County needs a leader who will tackle these issues with the sense of urgency it demands. I am that leader,” Horvath continued.
Eric Hacopian, Horvath campaign strategist, provided the following response to last night’s election results:
“The runoff election in November is one of great contrasts, between the solution named Lindsey Horvath and a problem called Grabby Bob Hertzberg. A failed Sacramento politician who has been in office or running for office for more than 25 years, he’s best known for his workplace misconduct and inappropriate actions while the state under his watch was going to hell,” said Hacopian.
