Open Call: Portrait

Li Tang Gallery is looking for artists who explore the realms of portraiture through both realistic and nonrealistic practices to evoke an emotional response regarding these contemporary issues. From paintings, to works on paper, to digital creations, there is no limitation on the media that can be submitted. Through the portraiture discipline, Li Tang Gallery is looking for artists who question our understanding of the world and our positions in it.

Artists at any stage of their career are invited to submit their work for consideration by our guest jury artists Philip A. Robinson Jr. and Jiannan Wu.
