Public Health Reports 4,862 New Positive Cases and 20 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 4,862 New COVID-19 cases (3,520,094 cases to date)
  • Monday 11/21 – 1,123
  • Sunday 11/20 – 1,506
  • Saturday 11/19 – 2,233
• 20 New deaths due to COVID-19 (34,118 deaths to date)
  • Monday 11/21 – 5
  • Sunday 11/20 – 6
  • Saturday 11/19 – 9
• Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
• More than 12,701,000 individuals tested; 24% of people tested positive to date

Data is by date reported by DPH, but does not necessarily represent the date of testing, hospitalization, or death.
