Public Health Reports 7,845 New Positive Cases and 39 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 7,845 New COVID-19 cases (3,585,468 cases to date)
  • Monday 12/12 – 1,986
  • Sunday 12/11 – 2,101
  • Saturday 12/10 – 3,758
• 39 New deaths due to COVID-19 (34,334 deaths to date)
  • Monday 12/12 – 9
  • Sunday 12/11 – 13
  • Saturday 12/10 – 17
• Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
• More than 12,772,000 individuals tested; 25% of people tested positive to date

Data is by date reported by DPH, but does not necessarily represent the date of testing, hospitalization, or death.
