Catering to adults and children, as well as science and art lovers, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County (NHM) programs will engage the communities of Los Angeles. For additional information, all events are listed at NHM.ORG.
February 1 to March 31, 2023
The public can help scientists at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County by sharing photos of snails and slugs spotted around Southern California. Whether they’re in backyards, at the local park, or along a hiking trail, every snail or slug photographed will help scientists learn more about biodiversity in our area. Participants can also vote in a contest for the best snail photos, with winners receiving NHM snail and slug swag as prizes.
