Public Health Reports 1,893 New Positive Cases and 37 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

  • 1,893 New COVID-19 cases (3,709,883 cases to date)
    • Monday 3/6 – 374
    • Sunday 3/5 – 563
    • Saturday 3/4 – 956
  • 37 New deaths due to COVID-19 (35,771 deaths to date)
    • Monday 3/6 – 8
    • Sunday 3/5 – 13
    • Saturday 3/4 – 16
  • Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
  • More than 12,951,000 individuals tested; 25% of people tested positive to date
