Public Health Reports 1,778 New Positive Cases and 28 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

  • 1,778 New COVID-19 cases (3,716,045 cases to date)
    • Monday 3/13 – 295
    • Sunday 3/12 – 431
    • Saturday 3/11 – 1,052
  • 28 New deaths due to COVID-19 (35,842 deaths to date)
    • Monday 3/13 – 9
    • Sunday 3/12 – 10
    • Saturday 3/11 – 9
  • Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
  • More than 12,964,000 individuals tested; 25% of people tested positive to date
