During CalFresh Awareness Month, DPSS is committed to keeping the public informed about essential benefits and resources in the county. Please help us to share this important information with those in your community who need it most.
MAY IS CALFRESH AWARENESS MONTH
DPSS has launched activities for the May CalFresh Awareness Month (CFAM), campaign, aimed at preventing food insecurity by informing low-income residents about the benefits of CalFresh. This year’s CFAM theme is The Power of Partnership, highlighting the work of our community-based partners. Please join us at the CFAM Community Kick-off and Resource Fair Thursday, May 4 at Amelia Mayberry Park in Whittier. This event is free and open to the public.
