Torrance City Councilman Mike Griffiths endorses Frank Scotto for State Assembly
TORRANCE – Former Mayor of Torrance and small business owner, Frank Scotto, has been endorsed by Torrance City Councilman Mike Griffiths in his run for State Assembly.
Griffiths said of Scotto’s bid for Assembly, “I am honored to support former Mayor Scotto. I believe in his ability to represent the residents of the 66th Assembly District and push for legislation that will make it easier for business owners to grow and create new jobs.”
A resident of Torrance for 60 years, Scotto started Frank Scotto Towing in 1975 and was the owner and operator of the business for more than four decades. Over the years, the business remained highly successful, providing emergency assistance to hundreds of motorists and has been honored for its outstanding service to the surrounding community.
With a long history of representing South Bay Residents, Scotto has served as a Commissioner on the Torrance Civil Service Commission, member of the City Council, and as Mayor of the City of Torrance. Frank used his many years of public service work to improve his community, making Torrance a more desirable place to work, live, and raise a family.
Frank Scotto is the former Mayor of Torrance. He is running for State Assembly in the 66th Assembly District, which encompasses much of the South Bay of Los Angeles.
