Syndrome and Maleficent to Join Oogie Boogie Bash 2025 Lineup

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Halloween at Disneyland Resort is about to get a little more wicked. This year’s Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party will feature two new iconic villains: the cunning Syndrome from Pixar’s The Incredibles and the darkly powerful Maleficent from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.
For a limited run beginning August 17 and continuing on select nights through October 31, guests attending this separately ticketed, family-friendly event at Disney California Adventure Park can explore 12 immersive treat trails while encountering a roster of notorious characters. Joining Syndrome and Maleficent are fan favorites like Hades from Hercules and Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb.
Villain Encounters
Syndrome at Pixar Pier
Making his Oogie Boogie Bash debut, Syndrome will set up near the Pixar Pier Band Shell, delivering sly quips and hatching nefarious schemes as guests collect candy. His appearance runs select nights through Halloween.
Maleficent at Grizzly Peak
The mistress of all evil returns with a vengeance, greeting guests along Mountain Road behind the Grizzly River Run queue. Expect a mix of elegance and menace as she casts her signature spell on the night.
A Season Full of Mischief
Beyond these two new additions, the event features characters such as Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco and Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas, along with themed snacks, entertainment, and after-hours attraction access.
