LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles County Assessor Jeff Prang will serve as the keynote speaker at the upcoming Home Expo in Lake Balboa, a free community event designed to connect residents with critical homeowner resources.
Hosted by the Southland Regional Association of Realtors, the Expo, also known as the Housing Opportunity Fair, will feature a wealth of information on everything from property tax savings and Proposition 19 to disaster recovery assistance and estate planning.
“This is a great opportunity for homeowners and families to meet face-to-face with experts who can answer questions and offer guidance on some of the most important issues they face,” said Assessor Prang. “I’m honored to be part of this program and look forward to seeing you there.”
In addition to Assessor Prang’s keynote address, the Expo will feature special guest speakers and subject-matter experts from the Assessor’s Office, who will be available to provide one-on-one support on a wide range of topics, including:
• Property tax relief programs
• Assistance for first-time homebuyers
• ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) opportunities
• What to do following the death of a property owner
• How to protect your home and prepare for natural disasters
