Solis Issues Statement on the Start of the Mid-Autumn Festival

LOS ANGELES, Calif. （Oct. 6, 2025）– Los Angeles County Chair Pro Tem and First District Supervisor Hilda L. Solis issued the following statement on the start of the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival:

“As communities across Los Angeles County come together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, I extend my warmest wishes to all who are observing this cherished tradition. I am proud to represent the First District, which includes the largest population of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) residents in Los Angeles County. The rich and diverse cultural heritage of our AAPI communities is an essential part of the fabric of this region, and I am honored to stand alongside those who celebrate this meaningful occasion. To everyone marking the holiday, I wish you peace, prosperity, and joyful gatherings. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!”
