LAPost/Los Angeles (February 6, 2026) — Air China has officially launched an exclusive airfare benefit program tailored for Tsinghua University alumni studying and working in the United States. Actively facilitated by Li Lan, President of the Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC) Southern California Alumni Association, the initiative secured a range of dedicated privileges for Tsinghua alumni, including discounted round-trip fares on U.S.–China routes, priority check-in, priority baggage handling, and preferred in-cabin seating, offering both cost savings and enhanced convenience for international travel.

Wu Xiaoyu, President of the Tsinghua University Southern California Alumni Association, said the collaboration represents an innovative model of alumni services. “The CAUC alumni association leveraged its strong industry resources, while the Tsinghua alumni association actively contributed through organizational coordination and platform support. This partnership reflects complementary strengths and shared resources. Establishing a sister alumni relationship not only brings practical benefits to Tsinghua alumni, but also expands networking and collaboration opportunities for CAUC alumni, highlighting the unity and mutual support among overseas Chinese university alumni organizations.”
