RED, WHITE & AQUA POOL PARTY: Get the party started early at Shade Hotel Redondo Beach. The annual adults-only Red, White & Aqua pool party runs from 1pm-6pm complete with music, refreshing drinks and delicious bites. REDONDO BEACH FIREWORKS SHOW: The City of Redondo Beach invites SoCal residents to pack up their beach towels, umbrellas and picnic for a day in the sun topped off with a fireworks show. This year’s fireworks will be going up a few days early on Sunday, July 1 in the Redondo Beach Harbor. Starting at 2pm, guests can enjoy a day by the water with live music and all-day entertainment before watching one of Southern California’s biggest fireworks shows. While the main viewing area is in the harbor, there are multiple viewing spots throughout the city, including the pier and Seaside Lagoon.

SHADE HOTEL FIREWORKS VIEWING PARTY: For a premium fireworks viewing experience starting at 6pm, Sea Level at Shade Hotel Redondo Beach will open its doors and guests can begin staking out their optimum viewing spot. Cozy up next to your loved ones and enjoy the show from the hotel’s Marina-Front Promenade overlooking the harbor. Reservations are required via Sea Level Restaurant at 310-921-8950.

FOURTH OF JULY 5K & FIRECRACKER DASH: Get ready, set, and go South Bay! Celebrate the Fourth of July with a scenic run along the Pacific Ocean and enjoy the 25th Annual Fourth of July 5K and Firecracker Dash on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 at 8:00am. Kids as young as 4 years old can get in on the action and all participants are invited to participate in the costume contest. All participants will receive a Fourth of July Run t-shirt. There will be chip timing, age division awards and cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5k run. All kids dash finishers receive medals too!

FREE CONCERTS ON THE REDONDO PIER
The free summer concerts on the Redondo Beach Pier begin Thursday, July 5 and run through August 30. Concerts start at 6 p.m. The annual concert series features bands across an array of genres including Blues, Country, Jazz, Rock, Salsa, Swing and Country.
