The Yantai government announced at an online news conference on Feb 12 that the city is working to provide a sufficient supply of daily necessities for residents.

The city is encouraging supermarkets to provide online ordering and no-contact delivery services to reduce chances of infection.

Accordingly, 58 supermarkets in urban areas and 73 supermarkets in six counties have launched online ordering and delivery services through their own applications, WeChat accounts and other online platforms.

The city also announced measures to help local delivery personnel protect themselves during delivery.

The city government also organized for designated companies to send affordable and fresh agricultural products to each community. The daily supply has reached more than 20 tons.
