Coronavirus Telephone Town Hall Hosted by Rep. Maxine Waters

Telephone Town Hall on the Coronavirus Pandemic

Dear Neighbor,

As our nation grapples with the impacts of COVID-19 (coronavirus), it is imperative that you and your families are well informed about the actions that federal, state, and local officials are taking to address this public health crisis.

That’s why on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 6:30pm PT, I am hosting a telephone town hall discussing the coronavirus pandemic for residents of the 43rd Congressional District.

Our telephone town hall will provide you with the opportunity to receive updates from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, representatives from all school districts in the 43rd District, Los Angeles County Metro, local community health clinics, Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, and other experts who will discuss coronavirus testing and preventive measures, school and business closures, public transportation, food assistance, and unemployment resources for you and your family.

If you would like to participate in our telephone town hall, visit https://waters.house.gov/live in order to RSVP. You can also live stream the call from this website. If you would like to dial in directly, please dial 855-962-1008 at 6:30pm PT.

My office is taking the coronavirus pandemic seriously, and we’re ready to help you in any way we can. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with questions or issues: 323-757-8900 (Los Angeles) or 202-225-2201 (Washington).

Sincerely,
