Public Health Reports 3,502 New Positive Cases and 36 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 3,502 New COVID-19 cases (3,441,113 cases to date)
  • Monday 9/19 – 725
  • Sunday 9/18 – 1,072
  • Saturday 9/17 – 1,705

• 36 New deaths due to COVID-19 (33,483 deaths to date)
  • Monday 9/19 – 9
  • Sunday 9/18 – 11
  • Saturday 9/17 – 16
• Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
• More than 12,531,000 individuals tested; 24% of people tested positive to date

Data is by date reported by DPH, but does not necessarily represent the date of testing, hospitalization, or death.
