Chinese-American Brothers Launch One-Stop Senior Care Center Redefining Elderly Care Experience
LAPost/Alhambra, CA (March 18, 2025) – On March 15, 2025, Seen Health, a one-stop senior care service center in California’s San Gabriel Valley, announced the grand opening of its flagship “Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly” (PACE) center in Alhambra. Seen Health operates under the philosophy of “Community-Based, Care-Centered,” dedicated to offering culturally immersive programs, multilingual services (including English, Cantonese, and Mandarin), and highly personalized care. Unlike traditional senior care facilities, Seen Health prioritizes quality services and operational excellence, enabling seniors to age gracefully in the comfort of their own homes. A team of 11 medical experts provides customized care plans that incorporate traditional Eastern wellness practices, ensuring that seniors receive holistic support covering diet, transportation, cultural activities, daily living assistance, and emotional well-being.
The grand opening celebration featured traditional lion dance performances, children’s programs, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. Attendees explored the state-of-the-art facility and experienced firsthand how Seen Health is redefining the standard of elderly care.

Federal Congresswoman Judy Chu, California Assemblyman Mike Fong, and other elected officials, community leaders, and partners attended the event to offer their congratulations. Judy Chu expressed her admiration for the facility’s thoughtful design, highlighting elements that cater specifically to Asian seniors, such as avoiding the number “4” in examination room labels due to cultural superstitions. She also noted the inclusion of spaces for traditional activities like Mahjong and holiday celebrations, which she believes will make Seen Health a beloved choice for the Chinese senior community.
With California’s rapidly growing elderly population, the demand for innovative senior care solutions is more urgent than ever. In the San Gabriel Valley alone, individuals aged 65 and older account for over 17% of the population, totaling approximately 306,000 people, 29% of whom are Chinese. However, many seniors, particularly those in underserved areas, have long felt neglected in the healthcare system. Their needs are often overlooked, and their cultural identities go unrecognized. Seen Health’s PACE center aims to bridge this critical gap.

Emma Wang, a 72-year-old Chinese senior and Seen Health’s first client, shared her experience. She expressed deep appreciation for the Su brothers, whose gratitude towards their grandmother inspired them to create Seen Health. Having been raised by their grandmother and witnessing firsthand the challenges immigrant families face in caring for aging relatives, the Su brothers sought to give back to seniors through their work. “As immigrants, we encounter many difficulties—being far from home, language barriers, and dependency on our children. We constantly worry about becoming a burden on them. Joining Seen Health feels like gaining a strong support system, lifting a weight off our shoulders,” said Wang.

“The founding vision of Seen Health is to redefine aging with dignity,” said Co-Founder and CEO Xing Su during the opening ceremony. “We want every senior who walks through our doors to feel a sense of belonging, to know they are seen, heard, and supported.” More than just a professional healthcare facility, Seen Health is designed to feel like home. With open communal spaces, natural lighting, and culturally inspired interiors, the center fosters dignity and social interaction. Unlike traditional one-size-fits-all PACE programs, Seen Health seamlessly integrates professional clinical care with deeply personalized social and cultural support, ensuring that each senior experiences a sense of familiarity and fulfillment.
Reflecting on their journey, Co-Founder and CEO Xing Su shared, “This has been three years in the making. Many people ask us: why did two professionals from the tech industry enter the senior care sector? Our answer is simple—family. Our parents and grandparents gave us everything to build our futures. But when they needed us most, we didn’t know how to care for them. Countless families face this same dilemma, struggling to balance their lives with their caregiving responsibilities. Seen Health was created to provide the most heartfelt, family-like care when seniors need it the most. Over the past three years, every step has been filled with dedication and effort. We are grateful to our team, partners, investors, family, and friends for their support during our most challenging moments. Together, we have turned the impossible into reality. And this is just the beginning. We aim to set a new standard in the senior care industry, ensuring that millions of elderly individuals experience the warmth of a true home. Only by being seen can they truly be cared for.”

“This is more than just another senior care option—Seen Health is setting a new benchmark for what elderly care can and should be,” said Co-Founder Yang Su. “For too long, seniors have had to choose between fragmented, impersonal healthcare services and being forced into nursing homes. But they should be able to age comfortably at home. We are providing a truly comprehensive, tailor-made alternative.”
The opening of Seen Health is not just the launch of a senior care center—it is the realization of a new vision. It demonstrates that elderly care is more than just healthcare; it is about dignity, cultural belonging, and quality of life. At Seen Health, every senior can find the warmth of home.
