LA Veterans Resource Expo Brings Vital Services and Resources to Los Angeles County Veterans and Active Service Members
Over 500 attendees had access to job opportunities, healthcare assistance, education resources, career counseling and more!
Pomona, Calif. (March 21, 2025)– The 4th Annual LA Veterans Resource Expo, hosted by Los Angeles County Chair Pro Tem and Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, was held today at the Pomona Fairplex, drawing a significant turnout of military veterans, active service members, and their families. This impactful event featured over 100 exhibitors, offering a broad spectrum of services and resources to assist veterans in various aspects of their lives. Over 500 attendees, who came from as far out as the San Fernando Valley to Pomona, had access to job opportunities, healthcare assistance, education resources, career counseling, and the chance to participate in on-site job interviews. Additionally, 200 free laptops were distributed, courtesy of the Delete the Divide initiative, aimed at closing the digital gap for those in need.
The LA Veterans Resource Expo continues to be an essential event, providing crucial support for military personnel and their families as they transition from active duty to civilian life. Open to all, the Expo serves as a vital resource for veterans across Los Angeles County, creating an opportunity to connect with fellow veterans and discover services tailored to their specific needs.

The LA Veterans Resource Expo was made possible through the collective efforts of Los Angeles County Military and Veterans Affairs, the Fairplex, the County’s Internal Services Department, the Stanley W. Ekstrom Foundation, and Alma Family Services. Vendors included numerous community colleges and universities, community-based organizations, County and State departments, and private employers. The continued collaboration of these organizations is vital in offering valuable resources to the veteran community.
