I’m writing to invite you to join me for a Facebook LIVE Virtual Town Hall:
Wednesday, April 22nd
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

We will discuss challenges being faced by homeowners and renters during COVID-19 and offer resources and solutions to your questions. I will be joined by:
- Lisa Sitkin, Senior Staff Attorney, National Housing Law Project
- Brian Augusta, Legislative Advocate, California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation
We will cover:
- How to apply for state and federal benefits,
- The state’s mortgage relief and forbearance program,
- Additional resources for how to work with your landlord or mortgage company during the pandemic.
If you have any questions on renter or homeowner-related issues, please submit them by: Tuesday, April 21st, by 5:00 p.m. We’ll address them during the town hall, respond via email, and in our website FAQs.
If you are unable to attend, a playback of the town hall will be available via my Facebook and website.
