Public Health Reports 20 New Deaths and 423 New Positive Cases of Confirmed COVID-19 in Los Angeles County

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19. The lower number of deaths may reflect reporting delays over the weekend.

423 new COVID-19 cases (1,214,178 cases to date)
20 new deaths due to COVID-19 (22,797 deaths to date)
792 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
27% are in the ICU
Nearly 6,010,000 individuals tested; 19% of people tested positive
