Public Health Reports 1 New Death and 213 New Positive Cases of Confirmed COVID-19 in Los Angeles County

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19. The case numbers and death reported today may reflect delays in weekend reporting.

  • 213 new COVID-19 cases (1,245,120 cases to date)
  • 1 new death due to COVID-19 (24,389 deaths to date)
  • 259 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
  • More than 6,822,000 individuals tested; 17% of all people tested positive

Everyone 18 and older coming to get their first vaccine or who brings a first-time vaccine recipient with them to their second dose appointment at County-run vaccination sites, L.A. city and St. John’s Well Child and Family Center sites, will have an opportunity to win a pair of season tickets to the 2021-2022 home season of either the LA Football Club soccer team or the LA Dodgers.
