2nd Annual Walnut Christian Community Fair – Just One Month Away

Walnut, CA – The 2nd annual Walnut Christian Community Fair will be held just one month from today, on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021, from 11 am to 3 pm. Last year, our first fair made local and national news by continuing our event despite threats from the LA County Health Department to shut down. Ultimately, less than two months later, in December 2020, a Supreme Court decision came down to rule in favor of the churches. This year, we have doubled our vendors and many more will be coming in the next month.

Already over 50 vendors have now confirmed. We will feature a petting zoo provided by Save The Animals Today sanctuary featuring baby goats, live music entertainment, a youth entrepreneurship contest and lots of food and family activities.

Already, we have confirmed musical acts Crafted Child, an alternative Christian band based in LA and Lauren Ahleeza, an R&B/Soul, funk, pop and indie/folk artist. They will be entertaining us throughout the event.

Shop local! Our vendors include Heavenly Gourmet Churros, Cisneros Essentials (essential oils), Shabby Chic Customs, John Scarlet Designs, Clio Clay, Hand Stamps by Anna, Letters & Feathers, Nac & Jac Creations, Oils In Bloom, Dudley Labs Pet Accessories, Quemada Tacos, and many more.

Educational vendors will be providing school resources for the community: CHEA, Public School Exit, Stanza Academy, Southland Christian School, Grand Canyon University, Excellence In Education, and more. Our business and nonprofit sponsors include Rose Hills, the Christian Community Credit Union, Guide Dogs of America and many more. Special thanks to media sponsor 95.9 The Fish.

Organizer Marc Ang says, “We are so proud to host another great community event, bringing great exhibitors with common values, manifested in family fun for the community. From a wonderful petting zoo to a wide array of food trucks to a youth entrepreneur showcase to live music from quality acts to celebrating our local arts and crafts vendors, there is something for everyone and we hope to create memories forever, like we did last year, despite facing unnecessary harassment. This year, we are vindicated and God has blessed us with even bigger engagement from the community.”
