LOS ANGELES, CA – Today, California Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian officially endorsed Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath’s bid for Los Angeles County Supervisor. Nazarian adds to a growing list of local leaders supporting Horvath’s campaign.

“While Lindsey represents a community over the hill, her advocacy and work as a policy maker and activist has notedly improved the lives of many throughout the San Fernando Valley,” said Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian. “Lindsey’s community-first approach and commitment to service is unparalleled and I’ve been impressed by her attention to the concerns of San Fernando Valley residents as she works to earn each and every vote. Lindsey has earned my vote and endorsement and I hope you will join me in supporting her fresh approach to Valley issues and concerns.

Elected in 2012, Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian, representing the 46th District 46, has led efforts to develop smarter and better infrastructure in the San Fernando Valley, from improving water resource management to increasing mass transit. Nazarian also created the California Kids Investment and Development Savings (CalKIDS) program, the largest child savings account program in the country, which provides all California children born on or after July 1, 2020 with college savings accounts with an initial seed deposit of $25. Not seeking re-election, Nazarian’s term ends this year.

“I am honored to have the support of such an influential leader like Assemblymember Nazarian,” said Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath. “Adrin has been a tireless advocate for the Valley, and I am grateful for the experience and insights his partnership brings to the work we will do together. His example of leaving a district better than he found it is unparalleled.”
