Councilwoman Horvath Responds to State Senator Hertzberg’s Insensitive Remarks Made at a Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association Candidate Forum

Los Angeles, CA – Today, the Stonewall Young Democrats and Westside Young Democrats released statements condemning State Senator Hertzberg for refusing to fully affirm the rights of trans and non-binary athletes at a Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association candidate forum on September 21. In response, Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath released the following statement:

“I have long stood shoulder to shoulder with our LGBTQ community. And I will continue to affirm and support the entire LGBTQ family, just as I did at the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association candidate forum,” said Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath. “I encourage my opponent to do the same.”
