Public Health Reports 2,598 New Positive Cases and 28 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 2,598 New COVID-19 cases (3,481,103 cases to date)

• Monday 10/24 – 523
• Sunday 10/23 – 814
• Monday 10/22 – 1,261
• 28 New deaths due to COVID-19 (33,915 deaths to date)
  • Monday 10/24 – 7
  • Sunday 10/23 – 10
  • Saturday 10/22 – 11
• 379 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
• More than 12,626,000 individuals tested; 24% of people tested positive to date

Data is by date reported by DPH, but does not necessarily represent the date of testing, hospitalization, or death.
