Public Health Reports 5,414 New Positive Cases and 15 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 5,414 New COVID-19 cases (3,535,493 cases to date)
  • Monday 11/28 – 1,599
  • Sunday 11/27 – 2,175
  • Saturday 11/26 – 1,640
• 15 New deaths due to COVID-19 (34,171 deaths to date)
  • Monday 11/28 – 3
  • Sunday 11/27 – 5
  • Saturday 11/26 – 7
• Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
• More than 12,721,000 individuals tested; 24% of people tested positive to date

Data is by date reported by DPH, but does not necessarily represent the date of testing, hospitalization, or death.
