The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

  • 5,184 New COVID-19 cases (3,652,052 cases to date)
    • Monday 1/09 – 1,179
    • Sunday 1/08 – 1,337
    • Saturday 1/07 – 2,668
  • 61 New deaths due to COVID-19 (34,867 deaths to date)
    • Monday 1/09 – 19
    • Sunday 1/08 – 20
    • Saturday 1/07 – 22
  • Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
  • More than 12,843,000 individuals tested; 25% of people tested positive to date
