Supervisor Barger Issues Statement on Lunar New Year 

Los Angeles, CA (January 20, 2023) – Supervisor Kathryn Barger shared the following statement today, in anticipation of the Lunar New Year that will be widely celebrated this weekend:

“I send my best wishes to everyone in Los Angeles County celebrating the Lunar New Year on January 22.

This is a time to both reflect on what we’ve achieved and embrace the hope of new beginnings. As we welcome the Year of the Rabbit – which represents confidence and strength – may we continue steadily working to reinvigorate our communities after the pandemic, in harmony with one another. 

May this Lunar New Year bring opportunity, peace, and good health to us all.”
