“As the temperature warms and residents make their way outdoors, parks play a critical role in providing a safe place for families and friends to gather,” said Norma E. García-González, Director of the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation. “Our diverse programming centers on building community across each of our park regions. Whether joining a team sport, diving into aquatics, taking on a nature center activity, or joining our contract classes like dance, poetry, martial arts, arts & crafts, there is something fun for everyone indoors and outdoors at the County of LA Parks and Recreation this season.”
