COSTA MESA, CA | Segerstrom Center for the Arts and Orange County Arts & Disability are excited to announce the 5th annual All Abilities Celebration, set to take place on Saturday, July 27 on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. The Center’s All Abilities Celebration is a culmination of the Center’s Disability Pride Month celebration happening throughout July with a focus on amplifying people with disabilities’ voices and influence.

Every year, the Center’s All Abilities Celebration proves to be a vibrant, inspiring and inclusive event, showcasing the talents and perspectives of each member of our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live performances from artists who showcase the power of diversity in the arts and engage in interactive workshops that cater to various interests and abilities. Guests can also explore a variety of informational booths that highlight local community organizations that offer resources and opportunities for individuals with disabilities. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be available throughout the event.

This event is presented in partnership with Orange County Arts & Disability whose mission is to provide arts, education, and cultural opportunities by, with, and for people with disabilities, making the arts accessible to people of all abilities. A performance schedule is coming soon!

In addition to the All Abilities Celebration, Segerstrom Center’s Disability Pride Month events feature a range of activities designed to engage and inspire. For Tuesday Night Dance in July, join the Center’s Studio D: Arts School for All Abilities faculty as they teach the fundamentals of ballet, all with a Studio D spin and accompanied by a live pianist. Dive into Swan Lake, waltz in Sleeping Beauty, or march in the Nutcracker as you learn choreography from classical story ballets.

Another exciting event is Silent Disco, taking place on Saturday, July 13. Silent Disco offers a fun opportunity where attendees can dance the night away with light-up headphones to a variety of music genres, including pop, hip-hop, and electronic tunes. This unique experience is perfect for everyone – just bring your best dance moves!

Segerstrom Center for the Arts is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every individual feels welcomed and celebrated. We believe that the arts are a powerful tool for bringing people together and that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and inspiration that the arts provide.

Our annual All Abilities Celebration is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, learn, and appreciate the special talents and perspectives that each individual brings. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the remarkable diversity and creativity throughout Orange County.
