To honor Juneteenth, eligible Angelenos can sign up for free admission to Los Angeles County Museums and Beaches
In honor of Juneteenth 2024 and as a representation of the commitment to the work of reparations, the County of Los Angeles will provide free admission and access to participating museums and beaches on or around June 19, 2024 for eligible LA County residents who are lineal descendants of African-American enslaved persons or free African-American persons living in the U.S. prior to the end of the 19th Century.
At the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County (including the Natural History Museum in Exposition Park and La Brea Tar Pits in Hancock Park), free admission will be available on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
To receive these benefits and be considered for eligibility in any future applicable programs, please complete the Community of Eligibility Residents and County Reparations Interest Form on the County of Los Angeles Anti-Racism, Inclusion, & Diversity Juneteenth webpage.
