Women of the Year’s 40th Anniversary Commemorative Ruby Celebration Gala
“Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations”
LOS ANGELES – In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Los Angeles County Commission for Women and the 40th Anniversary of the Women of the Year Commemorative Ruby Celebration Gala, the Commission for Women will select an exceptional woman leader from each supervisorial district. This leader will have a proven track record of advancing women’s rights, promoting equity, and/or fighting for social and economic justice. She will be honored at our upcoming Women of the Year 40th Anniversary Commemorative Ruby Celebration Gala.
This year’s theme is “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations,” and will recognize the significant impact and inspiring work these women have made in our community.
The Los Angeles County Commission for Women will only welcome nominations of women leaders whose achievements meet the established eligibility criteria. Nominations can be submitted here.
The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, November 29, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
The Women of the Year’s 40th Anniversary Commemorative Ruby Celebration Gala will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Biltmore Los Angeles Hotel. More information to follow.
