The Ebell of Los Angeles Celebrates the Season With Holiday Artisan Boutique, Chorale Concert & Tea, and The Nutcracker
Festive shopping, musical tradition, and a beloved ballet light up December at the historic women-founded cultural landmark
LOS ANGELES, November 20, 2025 – The Ebell of Los Angeles, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring women and building community through arts, culture and education, rings in the 2025 holiday season with a festive array of performances and gatherings. The annual Holiday Luncheon & Artisan Boutique brings together a curated gift-shopping experience, while the Holiday Chorale Concert & Tea welcomes guests for an afternoon of music and tradition. The internationally acclaimed Grand Kyiv Ballet returns to the Wilshire Ebell Theatre with a dazzling performance of The Nutcracker, offering audiences a chance to experience the timeless holiday classic in one of LA’s most historic venues.

Ebell Holiday Luncheon & Artisan Boutique
Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Boutique – FREE and open to all, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Luncheon – $85 signature sit-down luncheon with wine; $35 premium boxed lunch in the garden, 12:30 p.m.
The Ebell’s annual holiday celebration transforms the historic campus into a festive marketplace filled with handcrafted gifts, jewelry, art, home goods, gourmet treats, and artisanal creations from more than 30 Southern California makers. Guests can enjoy boutique shopping, festive entertainment, and a beautifully prepared luncheon served in the Ebell’s iconic Dining Room. With 20% of proceeds from sales benefiting The Ebell, your holiday shopping will help sustain The Ebell’s mission and programming. LA Voices: Chorale Concert & Tea

Celebrate the joy of community and immerse yourself in the spirit of the season with one of Los Angeles’ longest-running chorales. The 110-year-old Ebell of Los Angeles Chorale, under the masterful direction of conductor Yu Hang Tan, will delight listeners with an afternoon of traditional carols and seasonal music in The Ebell’s breathtaking Lounge. The celebratory program brings to life selections sung by the Chorale over the past century, including the rare revival of a handwritten carol composed by a former Chorale member for The Ebell. This year’s concert also highlights global & historical choral works such as Main’s Inveniam Viam (“I’ll find a way or make one”), Billings’s Boston, and the 16th-century Quechua hymn Hanacpachap Cussicuinin (“Heaven’s Joy”). After the concert, continue the festivities with a lavish holiday tea curated by The Ebell’s culinary staff.
LA Voices: Sundays at The Ebell is a free monthly series that invites Angelenos to experience the city’s cultural vibrancy alongside the historic charm of The Ebell’s campus. In partnership with local ensembles and community groups, each program highlights artists, scholars, and changemakers through performances, talks, films, and family-friendly events. Visitors can also enjoy docent-led tours of the landmark campus, exploring its gardens, salons, and sunlit rooms that have shaped Los Angeles’ cultural life for nearly a century.
