BOE Unveils Breakthrough Display Technologies at SID Display Week 2026 in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, May 5, 2026 — At the opening of SID Display Week 2026, global display leader BOE Technology Group (BOE) showcased more than 30 “world-first” and industry-leading innovations, marking its 12th consecutive at the event. Approximately 65% of the exhibits were debut technologies, underscoring BOE’s accelerating pace of commercialization and leadership in next-generation display solutions.
The company’s showcase centered on three strategic pillars—technology innovation, AI integration, and global collaboration—spanning LCD, OLED, MLED, and AI-powered applications. BOE also hosted its first overseas AI-themed forum and received multiple industry recognitions. Notably, Senior Vice President Liu Zhiqiang was honored with the SID Special Recognition Award.
A key highlight was BOE’s partnership with Pantone, where its 14-inch TADF wide-color-gamut flexible OLED display received Pantone validation—making it the first Chinese display technology to achieve this certification and signaling a new benchmark in color accuracy.
On the product front, BOE introduced several flagship innovations:
- An 85-inch UB Cell 5.0 RGBX TV featuring dual RGBC display architecture and ultra-wide color gamut;
- Advanced OLED breakthroughs, including “transparent display” technology and a significantly improved crease-free flexible screen;
- A 205-inch ultra-thin Micro LED display with seamless splicing;
- A 24.5-inch native 1000Hz gaming monitor delivering ultra-high refresh rates without compromising image quality;
- A “Natural Light” display tablet designed to replicate healthy lighting conditions for eye comfort.

Through immersive scenario-based exhibits—from gaming and entertainment to smart mobility and healthcare—BOE highlighted its vision of integrating cutting-edge display technologies into everyday life. The company also announced new joint innovations with ASUS, including the next-generation BLMB display technology for high-end laptops.
Looking ahead, BOE aims to deepen its “Internet of Displays” strategy, leveraging AI and sustainable innovation to shape the future of the global display industry.
