Public Health Reports 2,540 New Positive Cases and 27 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 2,540 New COVID-19 cases (3,488,288 cases to date)
  • Monday 10/31 – 593
  • Sunday 10/30 – 776
  • Saturday 10/29 – 1,171
• 27 New deaths due to COVID-19 (33,975 deaths to date)
  • Monday 10/31 – 7
  • Sunday 10/30 – 10
  • Saturday 10/29 – 10
• Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
• More than 12,644,000 individuals tested; 24% of people tested positive to date

Data is by date reported by DPH, but does not necessarily represent the date of testing, hospitalization, or death.
